A woman in her 40s was threatened at her front door by three balaclava-clad men holding hammers and a pickaxe.
The incident happened on Clifton Street on Saturday, September 23 just after noon.

Officers from Cleveland Police are now appealing for help identifying the men in the images as they may be able to assist with their enquiries.
A woman in her 40s answered the door to three men wearing balaclavas and face coverings, who then entered the address with a hammer and pickaxe.

They took a mobile phone from the woman and whilst one man stayed with her, the others went upstairs.

Following another knock at the door, the three men left the house and ran onto Portman Street, taking with them the mobile phone and some prescription medication.
Anyone who may know the identity of the men in the images is asked to contact Middlesbrough CID on 101, quoting incident number 190571.
Police are appealing to identify three men in the images below after a report of an aggravated burglary in Middlesbrough.
