A North East road has been closed this morning due to unsafe driving conditions.
Cleveland Police have confirmed Nunthorpe Bypass in Middlesbrough will be closed in both directions for a number of hours today (November 28).
They added it will be closed for a number of hours with delays expected.
A police spokesperson said the road has been closed for the public's safety.

They said: "Due to standing water on the road causing unsafe driving conditions, Nunthorpe bypass (Swan's Corner roundabout to Poole Roundabout) will be closed for a number of hours to all traffic in both directions.
"We expect this will cause delays, however this closure is in place to ensure public safety."
According to AA traffic maps, the incident has not been cleared and the road remains closed.
