A popular Darlington pub that boasts three storeys and a lease until 2032 has hit the market for £525,000.

The Green Dragon on Post House Wynd has built its name as a popular choice for drinkers over the years - but the building that houses the venue has now appeared for sale online.

Appearing on estate agent site Savills, the building is marketed for £525,000 - and boasts much more than a pub.

The ground floor is the pub area with a beer patio behind the venue and ancillary areas including a small catering kitchen and customer toilets.

Meanwhile, the first floor has a one-bedroom accommodation, kitchen, lounge and bathroom, while the second floor has two bedrooms.

It's believed that the business will be unaffected by the sale of the building, with two individual operators trading out of the pub and paying rent of £42,000 per year.
