A new Thai restaurant has opened in Darlington after teasing the food and atmosphere that it will be serving up to customers now that it is part of the town's business community.
Opening on Monday (November 27), Banrai has opened its doors on Parkgate, after boasting that people will be able to enjoy a range of various Thai street food delicacies.
Also offering takeaway and collection services, Banrai opened at midday - inspired by the bustling streets and vibrant flavours of Thailand.

Ahead of its big opening on Monday, it revealed that the restaurant was fully booked - with people desperate to try Banrai and something new for the town.
A spokesperson for Banrai said: "We are thrilled to announce that Banrai, a renowned name in authentic Thai cuisine, is opening in Darlington.
"Bringing the essence of Thailand’s culinary scene to the heart of Darlington, Banrai promises an unforgettable gastronomic experience.
"Every dish at Banrai is a testament to the rich culinary heritage of Thailand. From the fiery flavours of Green Curry to the comforting taste of Pad Thai, our menu will feature a diverse range of dishes, prepared fresh every day with the highest quality ingredients.

Before opening, Banrai has been offering a sneak peek of what customers can expect - with the bright décor and food featured in a series of new videos.
The spokesperson added: "We believe in using fresh ingredients, preparing delicious recipes, and offering our dishes at reasonable prices.
"Moreover, we respect our patrons’ time, guaranteeing that every meal is prepared and served efficiently. And for those who prefer to enjoy our flavors from the comfort of their homes, our efficient delivery service will be at your service."
