A sprinkle of pixie dust came to the outdoor rink at the Life Science Centre in Newcastle with a visit from stars of a Peter Pan production in “Toon”.

Cast members from the seasonal panto at the Tyne Theatre took to the Life ice ahead of the month-long run of the show starting on Friday December 8.

Peter Pan, played by former Dancing on Ice and Eastenders star Matt Lapinskas, lead the line-up at the Times Square rink, at the weekend.

He was joined by all-round entertainer Lewis Denny, who plays Mrs Smee in the panto production, fiery actor Micky Cochrane, who plays "baddy" Captain Hook, and other members of the star-studded cast.
