Normanby marked Remembrance Day 2023 on Saturday (November 11) with a service, wreath laying and a parade to pay tribute to all those that didn't make it home.

Hundreds of people paid their respects to all of those who have lost their lives in the First World War, Second World War and recent conflicts.

One wreath was laid on behalf of Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council by Councillor Curt Pugh.

As part of the same event, the Normanby History Group held its Armistice Day Service at the War Memorial on the corner of High Street and West Street.
