Police have issued an appeal after a teenage girl allegedly attacked a boy during an evening assault.
Officers from North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information about the assault that occurred in Bedale.
It happened on the High Street at about 7pm on Thursday, October 5.
In particular, officers are looking to speak to two women who broke up the fight between a teenage boy and girl.

It is believed that the two women got out of a vehicle and stopped the girl from attacking the boy.
Police want dashcam footage of the incident which could help an investigation.
