A pensioner has been left with broken ribs and a kidney injury following a crash near a North East retail park.
Police are appealing for more information following involving a white Vauxhall Astra van, a blue Mini and a blue Mercedes near Teesside Park at 4.15pm on Friday (October 27).
Police said the Astra, travelling northbound, collided with the rear of the Mercedes and then with the Mini.
It stopped after colliding with the central reservation and the Astra then left the scene of the collision.

A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "Did you witness or capture on your dashcam a collision on the A19 (northbound) on Friday afternoon?
"A 70-year-old passenger from the Astra is in James Cook University Hospital receiving treatment for broken ribs and a kidney injury.
"Enquiries into the circumstances of the collision are underway and anyone who can assist with information or footage is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number, quoting ref 214016."
