A big-name brand will open at a County Durham shopping centre next week after the venue teased a sneak peek of the shop front with 'coming soon' signs on it.

Dalton Park Outlet already boasts the likes of Jeff Banks, Clarks, Tog 24, Subway and many more well-established companies, but it has announced that Calvin Klein will now be one of its newest tenants.

The high fashion store, which will sell clothing, accessories and fragrances, will be opening next week at Dalton Park - marking a new chapter in the shopping park's history.

To mark the occasion, the venue posted on its social media page on Tuesday (October 24): "One week to go! Calvin Klein is coming to Dalton Park, bringing its timeless American fashion right to your doorstep! Stay tuned for the latest fashion trends and irresistible prices!"

This store will mark Calvin Klein's first North East shop, with the brand already having similar stores in York, Leeds, and Manchester.

Alongside the addition of Calvin Klein, Dalton Park has added Tommy Hilfiger to its collection this month, as well as Saltrock earlier this year.

Meanwhile, the shopping centre showed its green credentials recently with the arrival of Dale, the magnificent eco Whale.

A family-friendly recycling activation to support The Great British Beach Clean Project.

Made entirely from 745 recycled plastic bottles, Dale is set to become the local mascot in the fight for cleaner oceans and a healthier planet as Dalton Park embarks on an exciting mission to turn old plastic bottles into stunning recycled decorations – and would love the community to get involved.

To help Dale in his mission, Dalton Park is asking shoppers to take their old plastic bottles to Dale and drop them into his blow hole, so he can work his magic to transform them into dazzling decorations.

The RecyPrint recycled decorations will be proudly showcased throughout Dalton Park, spreading joy and inspiring others to follow in Dale’s eco-friendly flipper prints.
