The only direct flight taking NUFC fans to Dortmund for their team’s Champions League clash won't take off from Newcastle Airport.

There are no direct flights to Dortmund, Germany, from Newcastle Airport for the huge game against Borussia Dortmund next month.

But a specially chartered service to Dortmund airport will instead take off from Teesside that lunchtime and bring supporters back the next day.
