A popular restaurant located at the heart of Durham City Centre has re-opened following a renovation after a boom in business.
The Rabbit Hole, on Hallgarth Street, has recently completed a "stylish re-vamp" with a renovation to its premises and Cantonese Fusion cuisine menu.
Boasting a 4-star rating on TripAdvisor, the business is already well-known for its expansive oriental menu offering everything from Peking duck, ribs, rice and noodle dishes and curries.

Their dishes are also said to be "designed for sharing" and served alongside an expansive cocktail menu, some of which are showcased in the latest pictures of the restaurant.
Owners Sam Gadd and Zak Newton spoke of the latest chapter in the venue's history as they seek to offer "luxury food at affordable prices".
They said: "We felt it was time to evolve and revamp The Rabbit Hole, streamline the offer and open our doors to everyone.
"The new look, brand and menus are super exciting, and we’re genuinely thrilled to mark this new chapter. We look forward to welcoming everyone through the doors."
Pictures from inside the updated venue show plush velvet seating areas set in front of dark-painted walls and low lighting.
The Rabbit Hole is owned by The Zen Group which includes Zen-Durham's most popular Thai restaurant, Tango and new to the group, Whitechurch.
