An airline has announced daily flights from Glasgow to Canada.
Air Transat has unveiled its summer 2024 schedule from Glasgow Airport, offering Scottish passengers more opportunities to explore North America next year.
From May 2024, Air Transat will offer flights to Toronto.
Once in Toronto, passengers can then connect to Air Transat’s onward services to Montréal as well as Cancun in Mexico.
Glasgow passengers will fly on Air Transat’s modern fleet which includes the Airbus A330 and the Airbus A321LR aircraft, which has the lowest environmental impact in its class.
Return economy class prices from Glasgow to Toronto start from £464 per person.
Sonia Kurek, Air Transat's commercial director for the UK and Ireland, said: “We’re delighted to be offering Scottish travellers more choice and flexibility for summer 2024.
"With excellent value fares, all including meals and in-flight entertainment, a modern fleet and a wide choice of flights, we’re confident that Air Transat will be the airline of choice to Canada for many passengers next summer.”
