One man has been arrested and released after a suspected assault in a County Durham village yesterday morning (October 9).
The police and ambulance were called to an address on Front Street, Ingleton, shortly after 7am.
Officers from Durham Constabulary arrested one man at the scene who has since been released on bail pending further investigation.

A North East Ambulance Spokesperson confirmed that one person was taken to hospital for treatment.
Residents confirmed that they had seen police on Front Street
A Durham Constabulary spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a suspected assault at an address in Ingleton shortly after 7am yesterday (Monday) morning.
"One man was arrested in connection with the incident and has since been bailed pending further enquiries.

"An investigation is ongoing."
A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to an incident at a private address in Ingleton at 7.13am on 9 October.
"We dispatched one ambulance crew and transported one patient to hospital for further treatment."
