It was biscuit week on The Great British Bake Off this week as the 2023 season entered its second week.

The 12 new bakers took on cake week last week which saw Amos the first contestant eliminated from this year's series, while Dan was named star baker.

The remaining 11 bakers returned to the tent last night in an attempt to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith as well as presenters Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding.

Who was the second person eliminated from The Great British Bake Off 2023?

Season 14 of The Great British Bake Off continued last night with biscuit week.

The bakers kicked off the show by tackling the task of making 12 identical marshmallow biscuits as part of the signature challenge.

Next, they took on a technical challenge set by judge Prue Leith which required them to bake "perfectly baked" custard creams.

To conclude the 11 bakers took on a showstopper where they created an illusion biscuit display depicting their favoutite meal.

Tasha received a Paul Hollywood handshake and was awarded star baker for biscuit week.

While Keith became the second contestant eliminated from the 2023 series of Bake Off on last nights show.

In a written message following his elimination, Keith said: "Participating in the Great British Bake Off has been the most fantastic and rewarding experience of my life and I've loved every single minute of it.

"It's been a huge privilege for me to be included in the mix with some exceptionally talented individuals and I honestly feel I've improved as a person from the time I spent in their company.

"If I've learnt anything it is to embrace every step of the Bake Off Journey and not to underbake your biscuits."

The Great British Bake Off will be on Channel 4 every Tuesday night at 8pm.
