It is set to be a mostly dry and bright in Darlington and across the North East today (September 25) as the Met Office predicts some showers and gusty winds.

As the UK moves into Autumn, lower temperatures and gustier winds are becoming more common; we return to dark nights and late sunrises.

This is reflected in the Met Office forecast, as they predict a rather windy day with some showers – temperatures could also drop to a minimum of 6C.
