Fans are speculating after the logo of a popular band lit up the outside of a North East Stadium last night (September 20). 

Take That have sparked hopes that they may be set to return to Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium soon after their logo was spotted lighting up the outside of the stadium.

Lead singer Gary Barlow took to Instagram last night (September 20) to post a picture of the Riverside on his story alongside other famous football clubs across the country.

Other hinted concert venues included MK Dons stadium, Stadium MK, and Carrow Road Stadium in Norwich.

Barlow also took time to promote the band's new single 'Windows' which drops tomorrow (September 22).

This hint comes four years after over 30,000 people flocked to Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium to see the band perform for their Greatest Hits tour.

Take That was also the first gig that was ever held at Middlesbrough's Riverside, following the Stadium of Light which has since hosted Texan megastar Beyonce. 

No tour dates have been announced by the band as of yet.
