Seven dogs at Darlington Dogs Trust after a forever home

The canines at Darlington Dog's Trust have been listed on their website for the longest amount of time and are still patiently looking for new homes.

Jethro, Francis, Della, Bagel, Izzy, Snoopy, and Brooke each have unique personalities and needs, eagerly anticipating the right family to shower them with love and care.

Jethro, a Foxhound Cross, is naturally energetic and playful.

With loads of personality and the need for plenty of mental stimulation, he’s described as a bit of a big friendly giant.

This ‘sweet lad’ will brighten any home that can offer him a secure garden and adult-only, cat-free environment.

Francis, a Lurcher, is the sweet yet somewhat shy type.

He’s looking for a calm environment and he will thrive with a patient owner with no children around. He could potentially share a home with another tranquil dog.

His perfect match would devote time and patience to help him build trust.

Della, the young American Bulldog, requires an adult-only environment that can foster her confidence and help start her training from scratch.

She needs a bit of work to develop her social skills with other dogs and to channel her sometimes ‘OTT’ energy but wants the right guiding hand to help her thrive.

Bagel, a Crossbreed, is an older dog with a tender spirit who needs an understanding family to help her adjust to a home environment.

Bagel's ideal family would be patient and not rush her into situations too quickly.

Having experienced a sheltered life, she will best suit living with older teens in a pet-free home.

Izzy, a Terrier Cross, is a lively yet independent lady who will prefer a quieter and adult-only home.

Despite her age, she is young at heart and is a bit of a foodie.

Her forever family can expect an easy-going and adventurous companion who enjoys exploring new places.

Snoopy, a Staffordshire Bull Cross, is a ‘super affectionate lad’ looking for an adult-only home with a no other pets.
