An outdoor extravaganza in County Durham offering audiences a journey through 2,000 years of British history will hold its final performance this weekend.

Kynren’s final summer season show will take place at 7:30pm on Saturday, September 9, meaning there is one last chance to catch the 90-minute thrill ride as it ends its summer season.

The show returned to 11Arches Park in Bishop Auckland at the start of August, with the 1,000 strong cast taking over a 7.5-acre open-air stage for a journey through time.

The Northern Echo: The explosive finale of Kynren.

The epic tale follows a young boy, Arthur on his spellbinding journey through time and is packed with pomp and pageantry, thrilling choreography, amazing stunts, incredible equestrianism, world-class special effects and pyrotechnics.

Following the successful string of summer shows, CEO and Co-Founder of 11Arches, Anne-Isabelle Daulon has spoken of plans for next year's residency.
