A street was closed after firefighters were called to a blaze at a derelict North East address this evening.
Cleveland Fire Brigade (CFB) have confirmed they attended a fire at a derelict property on Elliott Street in Hartlepool.
They said they deployed two appliances to the scene to tackle the blaze.

A breathing apparatus and Positive Pressure Ventilation (PPV) were also used at the scene.
The service remained at the scene until 9pm when the incident was cleared.
This comes after residents spotted a fire service vehicles blocking the street as firefighters dealt with the incident.
The Northern Echo have contacted Cleveland Police for more information on the incident.
