Police searching for a missing North East woman have thanked everyone for sharing an appeal after she was found.
The woman was reported missing from Whitley Bay on Monday (August 21).
Officers had been growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

Northumbria Police confirmed this morning (Tuesday, August 22) that she had now been located.
