A number of postcodes in the North East have won thousands of pounds in the postcode lottery over the last week (July 28 to August 4). Check to see if you (or your neighbours!) have won below. 

Areas of the North East including County Durham, Darlington, Newcastle, and North Yorkshire all been selected for the £1,000 jackpot.

The People’s Postcode Lottery is a subscription lottery which aims to raise money for charities while also bringing cash prizes to homes across the UK.

The winning postcodes are: 

YO8 6QN - Hemingbrough, North Yorkshire. 

DL5 4QT - Newton Aycliffe, County Durham. 

DL15 9AB - Crook, County Durham.

DH6 4LZ - Kelloe, County Durham. 

NE3 4PT - Newcastle, Tyne and Wear. 

NE42 6AN - Ovingham, Northumberland.

The People’s Postcode Lottery costs £10 a month to play and there are guaranteed winners every day. People play with their chosen postcode and are automatically entered into all draws.

A minimum of 33 per cent from each ticket goes to charity and players have raised more than £950 million for over 9,000 charities and good causes since 2005.
