Two young girls, both 12, have been left with injuries - including a broken arm, after a collision between a car and an e-scooter last night.

The incident saw a huge emergency service response show up at Norton Road in Stockton, just before 5 pm yesterday afternoon (Monday, 10 July) - including the air ambulance.

But thankfully, both neither of the 12-year-old girls did not sustain life-threatening injuries. Both were taken to hospital, where one was treated for a broken arm, and the other for minor injuries.

The pair were knocked off an e-scooter that they were riding by a black Seat Ibiza near the traffic lights at the junction of Norton Road and Talbot Street in Stockton.

Police have confirmed that no arrests have been made yet following the incident.
