Now, Dalton Park holds the only Saltrock store in the North East, as the brand undertakes a full UK expansion with stores already open in Keswick and Kendal in Cumbria.
Following the opening, Centre Manager of Saltrock, Richard Kaye, has expressed his hopes for the store that he claims will be popular with shoppers.
He said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Saltrock to Dalton Park. A brand that embodies passion for the outdoors, bringing a fresh offer to our diverse retail mix and a unique blend of vibrant apparel to inspire adventure.
“This is an exciting milestone for Saltrock and we have no doubt they will prove to be a popular choice for our customers.”

Saltrock’s Managing Director, Martin Williamson-Cary, said the brand is “excited” to hold a store at Dalton Park.
He said: “This is our first new opening of 2023 and we’re extremely excited to join the Dalton Park line-up.
“We have a strong customer presence across Northumberland and Tyne and Wear and when we were presented with this opportunity, in the biggest outlet shopping centre in the North East, we jumped at the chance.”
This newest Saltrock sore expands the brand’s portfolio and reach, with over sixty other locations currently open across the UK.
