A group of adorable dogs from the Darlington Dog's Trust are in search of their forever homes.

Among the canines looking for love are Coco, a 6-12 month old American Bulldog Cross, Echo, a 1-2 year old Rottweiler Cross, Bubbles, a 2-5 year old Lurcher Cross, Olaf, an Under 6 months old Belgian Shepherd Dog (Malinois), Stomp, an 8+ year old Lurcher Cross, Smudge, an 8+ year old Saluki Cross, and Barney, a 2-5 year old Newfoundland Cross.

These lovable pups are eagerly waiting to find their perfect match.

Coco

The Northern Echo:

Coco, a friendly and boisterous bundle of energy, is searching for a fun-loving family who is up for some training sessions.

She is a clever and eager learner, but due to some medical limitations, may be best suited to being the only dog in the household and living with children over the age of 10.

Coco arrived at the Dogs Trust as a stray and requires regular hydrotherapy sessions for her leg problems.

Echo

The Northern Echo:

Echo, a sweet and playful girl, is in need of a home where she can be the only dog.

She is not well socialized and will require patience and work to help her become more comfortable around other dogs.

Echo loves going on road trips to quieter walking areas and can share her home with children over the age of 14.

She has been described as the perfect visitor during a day trip to her carer's home.

Bubbles

The Northern Echo:

Bubbles, a lovely lad, is looking for a quiet, adult-only home with no other pets or children.

He enjoys having playtime in a secure garden and going on adventures with his family.

Bubbles can be reactive when out on walks, so quieter areas are best for him.

Once settled into his new home, he will be fine being left alone for a few hours.

Olaf

The Northern Echo: Olaf

Olaf, a young and intelligent Belgian Shepherd Dog, requires an owner who can provide him with lots of activities and exercise.

He will need housetraining and basic training.

Olaf can live with children over the age of 10 and a well-trained, fully vaccinated dog.

Potential adopters of pups under 6 months old will need to sign up for a 4-session course at Dogs School.

Stomp

The Northern Echo: Stomp

Stomp, one of the golden oldies, is enjoying his time in a loving foster home while he waits for his forever home.

He can live with another dog and children over the age of 10.

Stomp loves nesting on cushions and blankets on the sofa, going for walks, and cuddling with his carers while watching TV.

He is fully housetrained and an excellent house guest.

Smudge

The Northern Echo:

Smudge, a shy yet lovely-natured dog, is seeking a home with children aged 16 and over.

Once he warms up to people, he enjoys cuddling and having a garden for occasional zoomies.

Smudge prefers to be the only dog in his new home and will require potential adopters to visit him a few times before going home.

Barney

The Northern Echo: Barney

Barney, a sweet and gentle giant, is in search of a patient and understanding family who will take things at his own pace.

He needs a quiet adult-only home with few visitors and would prefer to be the only dog.

Barney is on medication for his back legs and would be better off in a home without stairs.

He would benefit from hydrotherapy sessions, which can be continued for free at the Dogs Trust centre.

Barney also enjoys car rides and travels well.

If any of these adorable dogs have touched your heart, reach out to the Darlington Dog's Trust and enquire about Coco, Echo, Bubbles, Olaf, Stomp, Smudge, or Barney.

These loving companions are all looking for a new place to call home.
