An additional picture of Sophie Rebecca Lambert has been released by her family, in an effort to help locate her. 

22-year-old Sophie has been missing since 7.20 pm on Friday (June 16). She was last seen by her family before she left her house. 

With concerns growing for her welfare, police are on the lookout for her, with extensive police searches ongoing in the Nidd Gorge area, between Harrogate and Knaresborough. 

North Yorkshire Police are working closely with teams from Seach and Rescue to try and locate Sophie.

An updated description of Sophie has been released as well, with the public asked to look out for a white 5ft 3in woman, with long dark brown hair that is possibly plaited or wavy.

She also has a noticeable and distinctive scar on her forehead. 

It is unknown what clothing she has on, but her family said she tends to wear jogging bottoms and has dark green Adidas trainers with a white sole.
