The Love Island villa was once again rocked after another bombshell entered the popular dating show following a shock recoupling.

On Wednesday night's episode (June 14) the islanders were asked to gather around the fire pit, with recent bombshells Charlotte and Leah then being allowed to select the boys they wanted to stay with.

After that, the boys picked from the remaining girls who they wanted to couple up with.

In the end, Glasgow Love Island contestant Ella Thomas and Londoner Ruchee Gurung were the final two, with Ruchee ultimately not being saved.

Following that, a new bombshell in goalkeeper Scott Van Der Sluis entered the villa to stir things up.

Who is Love Island bombshell Scott?

Scott is a professional footballer who is currently contracted to League of Ireland side Shelbourne and played for Bangor City previously.

He is from Connah's Quay in North Wales and when asked on what his elevator pitch would be for why someone would want to date him he said: "Tall, dark, handsome and I’m a goalkeeper, so I’m good with my hands!"

Describing why he decided to go onto Love Island he explained: "Football is all I’ve ever done, all I’ve ever known. So this is a new and exciting opportunity for a change-up in life."

Explaining why he's single he said: "I’ve been single through my own choice, as well as circumstances. I’ve moved around a lot with football and I’ve been based in Dublin playing football for over a year.

"I’ve been single for 3 and a half years so it’s been a while so I’m ready and open to anything!"

In terms of what gave him the 'ick' he said: "Someone who gets too clingy too quickly. I don’t like too many calls and too many texts.

"I’m not a fan of someone wearing Nike Air Force 1 trainer with a dress on a night out either or waking up with someone and seeing patchy fake tan in the morning."

Love Island continues tonight at 9 pm on ITV2 and ITVX
