A motorist has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and failing to provide a specimen following the death of a motorcyclist.

Paul Greenfield, 58, who was a father-of-three, died after a collision with an Audi A5 on the A1027 Norton Ring Road on Thursday June 8.

Arron Lee Dunlop, 29, of Stockton due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court on Monday June 12.

Three other males arrested in connection with the incident; two aged 24 and one aged 25, have been bailed while enquiries continue.

Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses and anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward, in particular anyone who may have witnessed a white Audi A5 with black alloy wheels travelling along Norton Ring Road (A1027) in the direction of the blue bridge near Norton Avenue around 10pm on Thursday June 8.
