If you need to bring a bag, however, it must be no bigger than A4 and it will be searched.

The Middlesbrough F.C website says: “Anything listed on our prohibited items list will be confiscated before entry and any bags bigger than A4 will not be permitted into the stadium.

“Prohibited items include umbrellas, signs and banners, selfie sticks, food and drink (unless for medicinal purposes), flammable liquids and aerosols (including perfume, hairspray, etc), and laptops, tablets, and professional cameras/video equipment.

“There will be nowhere to store any such prohibited items, and they will therefore have to be disposed of prior to the event.”
