The owner of a café just outside Darlington has amused customers and locals with an amusing sign on the window.
The sign instructs those who would like a free coffee, to dance for one minute at the counter.
MJ’s Cake Café in Middleton St George opened a year ago and owner, Shalona Beaumont, wanted to introduce some fun and frivolity by asking customers to dance for a free coffee.
The trend of independent cafes and coffee shops asking customers to do this has become very popular over the past few weeks, with businesses offering free coffee for those who can throw some serious shapes.

The Facebook post with a picture of the sign has garnered a lot of attention and Ms Beaumont said: “I will throw a sign up on random days now.”
