Fans of Beyoncé have been up in arms about the staggering prices of merchandise on sale at her concert at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light tonight (May 23).

Queen Bey will be performing at for one night only with fans excited to see the former Destiny’s Child frontwoman entertain the crowds.

For those wishing to take home a memento, however, may find that the prices of some items just can’t be justified.

Some at the celebrity’s first UK gig in Cardiff last week could not believe the price of a zip-up hoodie from the official merchandise stand which was being sold for a whopping £120.

These hoodies have now been reduced by £20, so are on sale for £100.

Among the other items on sale were standard hoodies for £100, tracksuit bottoms for £90 and T-shirts for £45.

Some people took to social media accusing Beyoncé of ripping off fans.

One tweeted: “£120 for a hoodie - absolutely cannot! What do these artists actually think they are doing?! Okay, it's people's choice to spend that, but nah, that's just wrong on so many levels! Ripping fans off and the artists turn a blind eye.”
