A man has been disqualified from driving after being caught at more than double the drink drive limit.
Christopher Collins, of Roseberry Crescent, Middlesbrough, was driving a 13 plate Ford Focus on the A171 on November 1 last year when he was at more than double the legal limit.
An alcohol level test recorded 176 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of the 33-year-old’s blood.

The legal limit is 80 milligrams.
Appearing before Teesside Magistrates Court on Thursday (May 18) Collins pleaded guilty to one charge of drink driving.
He was barred from getting behind the wheel for 17 months and ordered to pay a £120 fine. The disqualification period can be reduced by 17 weeks on completion of a course.
