A person has been taken to hospital after a car reportedly 'rolled over' at a North East roundabout this morning.
North East Ambulance Service have confirmed a person has been taken to Sunderland Royal Hospital after they received a report of a road traffic accident on the A183 Washington highway this morning (May 9).
They confirmed they deployed one emergency ambulance to the scene after receiving the report at 8:34am.

According to AA road maps, the road has been closed due to a "rolled over car" on the A182 Washington Highway Westbound from B1519 Chester Road to Biddick Hall Roundabout.
An NEAS spokesperson said: "We were called at 08:34am to a road traffic accident on the A183 Washington highway.
"We sent one emergency ambulance and transported one patient to Sunderland Royal Hospital."
The Northern Echo have contacted Northumbria Police for more information on the incident.
