A missing teenager from York has led to police launching an appeal to find her.

Macy Edeson was last seen at the address of a family member in York at 6:45pm on Monday, April 24.

The 16-year-old is described as white, slim build, with long brown hair which is often in a ponytail.

She is approximately 5ft and was last seen wearing white pyjamas with a black coat and furry hood.

Any sightings of Macy should be reported to police immediately by calling 999.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “We're appealing for any information that could help with the search to find Macy Edeson.

“Macy, who is 16-years-old was last seen at a family members address in York at 6.45pm on Monday (24 April 2023).

“Officers are currently carrying out extensive enquiries in the York area to locate Macy but are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

“Macy is described as a white female, slim build, she has long brown hair which is often in a ponytail. Macy is approximately 5 foot in height and was last seen wearing white pyjamas with a black coat on which has a furry hood.
