A new business village is taking shape in County Durham.

Endeavour Village in Peterlee is a business community where hybrid units are offered that are flexible, energy-efficient, low start-up workspaces, packaged with communal and conference facilities.

Building work is progressing well and reservations are now being taken for businesses to relocate in the Autumn.

Each of the 22 hybrid units of 1450 sq ft will have an office on the upper floor and storage, warehouse, workshop, or studio area on the ground floor.

Lindsey Dunn from Endeavour Villages said, “The original concept for this development opened in Cramlington in late 2020 and has proven very successful. Part of the success is the fact that we create a hybrid working environment, offering businesses high-quality office space with warehouse, storage or workshop attached in a vibrant, friendly yet professional environment with shared facilities that encourages people to feel part of a thriving business community and the knowledge that the units are flexible and can grow with the business.

“We are building units that are purposely made for modern business that require offices as well as warehouses, storage, workshop space and benefit from city centre communal style facilities”.

“The Peterlee site is the second phase following our Cramlington village that opened during the pandemic with future developments in Gosforth and Durham well underway. .

Site Manager Barry Hunter who said that the multi-million-pound development is progressing well and on target to start moving the first tenants in later in the Summer. .

“This is very different to many traditional business parks or trading estates. It allows tenants to integrate, work and relax together in a state-of-the-art, modern workplace. The facilities and environment we’ve created will allow East Durham-based businesses to flourish as they have at Cramlington.”
