High street giant TKMaxx is set to open a new store next month, after an opening date was confirmed.

The brand, famous for its collection of bargains, will open a new store at the Cleveland Retail Park in Middlesbrough in just a few weeks’ time.

Signage which has appeared at the site confirmed the store will open on May 25.

The retailer submitted plans to open the new clothing and homeware store back in January in the former Outfit store at the retail park off the A1085 Trunk Road.

According to the plans, the store will sell women's clothing, accessories, and shoes on the ground floor with men's and children's clothing and homeware on a new upper floor.

‘Click and collect’ will also be available.

The announcement comes as a boost for the retail park which has seen the former Outfit unit sit empty since 2021 when the Arcadia Group collapsed into administration.
