Comedy duo Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer are not in regular contact, despite being well-known for their wacky panel show Shooting Stars, according to Reeves.
In an interview with the Radio Times, Reeves stated that although they don't talk on the phone, they occasionally meet up for a chat.
Reeves has recently been focused on painting, releasing his artwork under his real name Jim Moir.
He has previously described art as "just for laughs."
The duo previously opened up about a harrowing experience they had on a road trip in California in 1992, where they were held at gunpoint.
Reeves stated that the trip was "doomed" and involved a mistake made after reading a book about the gangs of Los Angeles.
