An upmarket cinema chain is to open a new location in a North Yorkshire market town this spring, in the final phase of a new development.

The popular cinema chain already has venues across the North East open or opening soon, including in Durham, Newcastle, Harrogate, and York – and their new Northallerton venue will be their 39th location.

The new luxury cinema will open as part of the final phase of Northallerton’s new Treadmills destination and will consist of four extensive screens, and 274 seats, all fitted with Everyman’s trademark velvet sofas and armchairs.

Guests will also have access to a bar and an extensive food menu, including mains like hand-stretched pizzas and beef burgers, as well as smaller plates like honey halloumi and tempura prawns, all of which can be delivered to your seat.

The cinema will also have an accessible vegan menu, specialty beer, wine and cocktails, milkshakes, freshly baked cookie dough, and build-your-own-sundae options.

The Treadmills destination is being developed by Central Northallerton Development Company. The company say they are “determined to deliver a high-quality mixed-use development comprising retail, restaurants, cinema, cafés, residential and a tech hub.”
