A North East woman has been fined after being caught fly-tipping a fridge freezer onto land.

Monica Spirache, aged 34 of Crescent Road in Middlesbrough, appeared before Teesside Magistrates Court on March 28, 2023.

She was charged after being caught in Portsmouth depositing controlled waste.

Spirache dumped a fridge freezer on land on Specks Lane in Portsmouth without the correct authority in 2019.

She pleaded guilty to the offence and was fined £480.

She was also made to pay £48 to victim services and £936 in court costs.
