Police are appealing for information after a member of the public spotted a group of teenagers believed to be a black handgun.

Officers from Cleveland Police are looking into reports of a possible firearm sighted in Teesville, Middlesbrough on Friday (February 10).

Police received a report that of a group of lads had what the caller believed to be a black hand gun, on Burns Road in Teesville at around 7.50pm.

Anyone who may have witnessed this or who may have information is asked to call 101, quoting SE23026464.
