Beyoncé fans have been left furious and let down after they faced high demand as tickets for the UK leg of her first solo tour went on general sale on Tuesday (February 7)

The popstar is playing stadium shows in Sunderland, Cardiff, Edinburgh, and London in May and June 2023.

Despite tickets going for between £59 and £199, fans flocked to the Ticketmaster site on Tuesday - with some users getting an error message on the website, while others said they were kicked out of the queue, which in some cases was 300,000 strong.

A portion of the UK tickets have already been sold in a series of pre-sales, while the first pre-sales for her North American dates began on Monday.

The UK concerts are part of a 43-date world tour in support of her Grammy-nominated Renaissance album.

The shows kick off in Sweden on 10 May, before landing at Cardiff's Principality Stadium a week later.

She will then visit Edinburgh's Murrayfield on 20 May, Sunderland's Stadium of Light on 23 May and London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 29 and 30 May.

Following the challenge to get tickets, many fans decided to give up on the pursuit of tickets - with some left 'furious' and 'let down' by the process.

Taking to social media, one social media user said: "I'm absolutely furious - I logged on for tickets on time and I keep getting an error message - what a joke," while another added: "This is not happening right now - getting these tickets are a joke and a let down."
