Singer-songwriter Tom Grennan has announced a huge gig in the North East this summer.

The ‘Little Bit of Love’ singer, 25, will play Newcastle’s Gosforth Park Racecourse for one night only on Saturday July 1.

He is the latest addition to the racecourse’s ‘Live After Racing’ series of events this summer, as he rounds off events of the Northumberland Plate day.

Grennan is adding the date to his first headline UK arena tour, kicking off in March, which will also see him play Newcastle’s O2 City Hall.

Tickets for the event are set to go on sale on Friday (February 3) at 10am with presale opening for 02 priority customers on Wednesday (February 1) at 10am.

Event bosses are promising a ‘superb night of entertainment’ from the artist.

It comes on the back of a defining year in 2022 which saw Grennan headlining tours of North America and Australia, as well as joining the England Soccer Aid squad.

Former Boyzone star Ronan Keating is also set to play at the Newcastle racecourse this summer, rounding off Ladies Day on Saturday July 29.

Tickets for the boyband-star-turned-presenter’s gig went on sale on Friday January 20.

The pair join a host of other big names set to play to crowds in the North East this summer.

Newcastle-lad Sam Fender will play to two sell-out crowds at St James’ Park in June, on the same weekend as international superstar Pink! headlines Sunderland’s Stadium of Light.

Michael Bublé and Olly Murs will also both play Newcastle’s Utilita Arena this Spring.

Tickets for Tom Grennan’s gig will be available through Ticketmaster.
