Free skating sessions are now available for people at Darlington Ice Rink in the Market Square.
Town centre shoppers can enjoy the decidedly festive feel after the winter fun started on Saturday.
Additional sessions have been added this year to increase capacity including later twilight sessions until 7pm on select days.

There is also a new quiet time skate session at 11am with no lights or music and reduced numbers is available to be booked.
A maximum of four tickets can be booked per family and spaces are limited throughout the day to a maximum of 45 persons per session.
This is a synthetic skate rink which is the more environmentally friendly option.
A skating penguin is available to use subject to availability.
Skates and protective equipment will be provided for free.

Organisers point out the activities are all at the person’s own risk and all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
