The facilities at Middleton Hall Retirement Village have been thoughtfully designed to allow residents to live rich and fulfilling lives. Located right at the heart of the village’s beautiful 45-acre estate is a range of well-regarded, individualised care services for anyone requiring more support.

Working closely with residents and their families, Middleton Hall’s highly professional, dedicated and compassionate teams provide care and support that is carefully tailored to residents’ individual needs and designed to help people to stay as active and independent as possible.

Care Director Colin Inglis proudly states that all care residents are highly valued and respected members of the village’s community. “Our friendly teams work hard to provide person-centred individual care, to enhance the quality of life for our residents. They are trained to understand the different types of care needs that may be required, whether this is assistance with personal care, help with mobility, help at mealtimes or higher levels of personal care and support.

“We are very proud of the excellent service and care delivered by our highly capable teams and one of our priorities is to continually invest in our facilities to ensure that residents enjoy the very best life experience.”

Middleton Hall’s care services offer a flexible range of options to suit individual needs. These include independent living with support in the Middleton Grove apartments, residential care in the Middleton Gardens care service, innovative small group living in Middleton Oaks for people requiring a high level of practical, nurturing support and high dependency residential care in Middleton Court.

Recent investment in the care service facilities has included revitalising the Middleton Gardens lounge and dining areas, the creation of a tranquil reading room for residents and installing outdoor patios for ground floor rooms. Planning permission has also been granted to create balconies for some Middleton Grove apartments to allow residents to make the most of the beautiful countryside views.

The Northern Echo:

The philosophy underpinning Middleton Hall’s approach to care is one of ‘Living Well’ and the aim is to provide residents with a wonderful opportunity to enjoy favourite and new recreational activities and events with a strong community ethos. This year this has included sports days, summer parties, and a Bonfire and Fireworks Night event in the grounds, with a Christmas fair and a Christmas lights switch on event planned for the next few weeks.

All residents have the opportunity to take part in the vibrant Middleton Hall community. Residents enjoy using the pool and gym in Middleton Spa, the Orangery café, the restaurant, shop, library, art studio, bowling green, boules pitch and putting green and the allotments. There are even chickens in the grounds.
