A classic car fan is preparing a 10,000 mile rally to Asia in a 49-year-old car he bought from an internet auction site.
Jim Mann will cross two continents, five mountain range, two deserts and 17 countries in a 300 Morris Minor.
Mr Mann, 31, from Darlington, bought the car from eBay specifically to take part in the 2008 Mongol Rally.
He will set off from Hyde Park, London, on July 19 in the 1959 Morris Minor, in a team called Extreme International.
