AN annual sheep show attracted record crowds in its 23rd year when it was held on Saturday.
The Eastgate Spring Sheep Show, in Eastgate, Weardale, County Durham, was visited by more than 800 people and boasted more than 70 exhibitors.
Paul Collinson, the show's secretary, said: "We got record crowds and it just goes from strength-to-strength. We couldn't have asked for a better day."
The overall champions were Colin and Ann Martin, from Stanhope, with a Swaledale tub hogg. The couple also won last year.
The reserve champion was George Wearmouth with a Blue-faced Leicester yew.
