MOTHERS and their children celebrated the success of a pioneering parenting programme by planting trees.
The Mellow Parenting course is designed to bring families in Redcar and Cleveland together with the help of a range of activities, including play, healthy eating, and behaviour management.
The group planted trees at Dormanstown Children's Centre, near Redcar, on Wednesday.
Course tutor Julie Topley said: "Everyone involved has really benefited from the experiences we have shared together, and we all thought it would be a great idea to show mums can grow into confident parents by organising the tree planting."
