POPULAR animated characters Wallace and Gromit visited a North-East hospice to hand over a £10,000 cheque.
The Wrong Trousers stars arrived in their Wallace and Gromitmobile to spend time at Butterwick House Children's Hospice, in Stockton.
The pair were also promoting Wrong Trousers Day on June 27, when people are being encouraged to go to work or school in the wrong trousers.
The Wallace and Gromit Children's Foundation is supporting a music therapy programme at Butterwick House. The grant of £10,000 is supporting the staff costs and equipment renewal for the programme.
