Rail services travelling through the North East have been delayed or cancelled after a person was struck by a train on Wednesday (November 2).
Trains between Edinburgh and London have been severely impacted after a person was tragically struck between York and Doncaster at around 2pm.
LNER initially put out several service updates, which included services travelling to London terminating in York, and several services to Edinburgh having to stop, due to an emergency service presence on the line.
