Four-time Olympic swimming medallist Rebecca Adlington OBE is to offer free swimming taster sessions this half-term.
With Halloween just around the corner, the sessions will have a spooky twist to ensure a fun- filled day for the local children of Teesside on Friday, October 28.
Running from 1:30pm to 3:30pm, local children aged 3-11 can don their swimwear and join in for a lesson in the state-of-the-art pool with a spooky twist as we are just days away from Halloween.
Those in attendance will also be encouraged to take advantage of the latest offer SwimStars is running where, if parents sign their child up on the day for further lessons, they will receive a discount of 50 per cent off for the following month of November.
The centre, located at Total Fitness Teesside, in Thornaby, provides an opportunity for children in Teesside and the surrounding areas to learn a life skill in swimming, as well as other transferable skills which can help in all aspects of a child’s development, such as confidence, determination, resilience, and social skills.
