A date has set so a much-toddler can be laid to rest by her heart-broken family.
The funeral of Maya Louise Chappell will be held on Friday, November 4, at 2pm, at Our Lady and St Joseph’s Church in Leadgate near Consett.
The two-year-old girl died after a suspected assault at her home in Shotton Colliery.

Maya’s father James Chappell, from Consett, has asked for only family and close friend sto go inside the church and for people paying their respects to remain in the grounds.
Maya was found in a critical condition after police attended an Milton Grove in Shotton Colliery on Wednesday September 28.
She was airlifted to Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary but she died in hospital two days later.
Michael Daymond, 26, from Shotton Colliery, has been charged with murder and is due to stand trial in March.
